Sign up for February Classes!
Posted by Brooklyn Brainery on jan 26, 2011 under News
February classes are open for registration (and a couple already filled up by the time we got around to posting this!)
They're all listed below, but first an announcement! With the popularity of the Kimchi Party, we've decided to start a monthly tradition at the Brainery: $7 Sundays. Brief, easy drop-in classes where you learn a quick something and get to hang out with a bunch of other interesting people. We're capping registration this time, though, so you'd better sign up quick! The best part is the misleading name - $7 Sundays are actually only $5.
$7 Sundays - Soda Basics: Making Ginger Ale - If we called it "ginger beer" they'd try to send me to prison
Even More Kimchi! - A closer look at the making, history and usage of kimchi (If you signed up for the Kimchi Party you get $5 off!)
Beekeeping 101 - Four weeks of the science and practice behind keeping your own hive
Easy Vegetarian Food - Super simple recipes with a Guyanese twist
Hand Sewing and Mending - Never use staples to fix your clothes again
Using the Media - A Tool for Social Change - The nuts and bolts of getting coverage for your cause
Historical Cloth-making - Spinning and felting cloth like they used to do it
