I spent lots of childhood summers making paper from scratch and have recently rediscovered this satisfying and creative process.
Join us for a relaxing evening of making handmade recycled paper, with your own paper trash! We'll start by tearing up our paper scraps, soaking, blending and then turning our pulp into sheets of beautiful paper with dried flowers added for extra flair. This simple project is super fun and a great way to get your hands dirty.
Bring paper with you -things like old newspapers, printer paper, junk mail, or paper bags work best! You will need to bring your damp paper home with you (or pick up at a later date). We'll make as many sheets of paper as time and materials allow.
We'll work both indoors and out, weather permitting.
July 1 class is discounted to a special price of $35, other sessions are $40.
