Soup Dumplings

*Our December classes wrapped up this week with a giant dumpling-fest last night. You'll be happy to know that you can, in fact, make soup dumplings at home fairly easily, once you know the answer to the all important question: how you get soup into a dumpling in the first place.

So what's the secret? The broth's not frozen first, and it's not injected, it's all due to good old gelatin. Add some to your cooked broth, and it'll cool into a solid (sorta) substance that can easily be spooned into your dumpling wrapper, just like magic! Here's a good recipe if you want to give it a shot.

+ whatever else:

*We'll be announcing a whole new round of classes to start in late January soon. Look our for classes on flower arranging, kimchi, sign language, bees and way more in the next couple months. (Hopefully in our shiny new space!)

*As always, we love getting your suggestions, so let us know what topics you want to cover, anyone who might be a great teacher, or email us about anything at all.
