Next Week is Going to Be Super Fun

We're excited to be hosting two free events next week, and you should come to both of them! I'm so excited that I am using gigantic images to illustrate them:
On Monday, February 27, the Backwards Beekeepers of NYC will be presenting the excitingly named Top Wax Chef at the Brainery. They'll give you the rundown on everything you need to know about turning beeswax into useful things like lip balm. RSVP here!
Then on Tuesday, February 28, we're moving the show up North, to Public Assembly in Williamsburg for the latest installment of Masters of Social Gastronomy. It's our new lecture series on food history and science, and we think it's pretty fun.
This month's all about candy, so of course you'll get to eat some while enjoying drink specials and learning all there is to know about sugar. RSVP so we have lots of candy, like us on FB, or follow our tumblr.
And lastly, I should mention that every Saturday we'll be hosting a Plovgh pick up at the Brainery from 2-4pm. Plovgh's a cool new take on CSA's where you order your crops in advance, then pick them up from a neighborhood spot, still from great local farms. It's pretty rad.
Oh, and you should mark your calendars for Sunday, March 18, then check back here for all the details next week. Something very fun is coming.
