S.A.S.S. Makes The Great Depression Less So

Every month, the Society for the Advancement of Social Studies meets for three short lectures on historical topics you vaguely remember from your past life as a student. Sound serious? We promise it's way more fun than school though, because you're now of legal drinking age and the PowerPoints are full of swears.

On March 6, S.A.S.S. is tackling what could be a depressing topic--The Great Depression--with boundless optimism. You'll get an overview of the whole thing, learn all about the dust bowl, and even peek into what was happening in NYC at the time. Are we excited? We are.

All the details:
Public Assembly, 70 North 6th Street, Williamsburg
Tuesday, March 6, doors at 7pm
Fittingly, it won't cost you a penny.
