First off, if it's before 10am Saturday, you can nab the last spot in our all-day Make Your Own Stationery class. It's going to be cold and you won't want to be outside anyway, so you might as well learn about phototransfers.

What else are we doing next week?

Monday: We're taking the night off and OMG are we excited about it. Everyone's got better things to do on Halloween than learn stuff, right?

We'll probably send out some new classes that day too, if we get our act together.

A whole bunch of classes are wrapping up on Tuesday: Haitian Culture, Soda & our very first real art class, Drawing Portraits, where everyone is in the midst of drawings some awesome things. (Pics soon!)

On Wednesday, our class on writing about music starts with the awesome Stacy Kahn. There're a couple spots left, and you'll learn to model your own music writing on the best.

Also on Wednesday, Medieval History starts! Charlotte is planning a super interesting and interactive trip through the era, exploring everything from troubadors to the Black Plague and the everyday life of Medieval folks.

Thursday! Will be an exciting day; Indian Condiments begins (two weeks long, we'll make everything!) and later in the evening we'll have a lecture on the history of dueling. Get a sneak peak in this Time Out New York piece and sign up!

And looking way into the future, don't forget about November's meeting of the Society for the Advancement of Social Studies. It's the most free secret club in existence, and you should join us November 8 at Public Assembly to learn all about the Civil War. All the details live here
