Taught by Lisa Nett

Lisa hails from the tree filled state of Wisconsin. She studied forestry at UW-Madison, and the art of firewood stacking on the family dairy farm.  Get outside and learn to identify trees by the details: bark, buds, leaves and tree form. Class will start with an overview of identification terminology and practice outside in the field. Join us for a gambol around the Prospect Park and get to know some street trees!

Walks happen rain or shine and exact meeting locations will be emailed to you the day before the tour. You'll be outside for the entirety of the walk, so please be sure to dress for the weather. We'll meet on the Park Slope side of Prospect Park.
