We're happy to report that we have walls and floors and ceilings at the new space in Prospect Heights. And though there's still lots of furniture to buy things to paint, we'll be hosting some classes there starting in mid-January, with daytime coworking coming very shortly thereafter.

I made an absolutely awesome recipe from the blog A Cake Bakes in Brooklyn today (thanks to Four Pounds Flour for the link!). It's for "frozen malted milk cookies," and it's really a cake, not cookies, but no matter cause it tastes amazing.

Starting next week, we’ve got two awesome classes coming up with Scott Ordway: The Social History of Classical Music and The Cultural Cold War. Scott’s a composer and doctoral research fellow at the University of Pennsylvania; he really knows his stuff, and we're pretty psyched to have him teaching at the Brainery.
