Event Heads Up: Uncovering Long Lost Stories at Green-Wood Cemetery
Posted by Jen Messier on jan 6, 2012 under Event
This isn't a Brainery event, but I know you guys are super interested in NYC history, so it must be brought to your attention!
Ben Feldman, one of our favorite people around here, is giving a free talk at Green-Wood Cemetery on Saturday, January 14th. He'll cover the process of digging up interesting history--what tools and resources are out there--and how to go about doing it yourself. After the talk, there's a trolley tour to the graves of those Ben will discuss during his presentation. Should be awesome.
If you can't make it on the 14th, you can catch Ben on February 2 at BLDG 92, discussing a sensational murder case of the 1850's, or at the Brainery on February 7, talking about the wild antics of Edward West Browning in 1920's New York.
