Updated Sept 22, 2018
After stumbling upon a big feral cat colony in Sunset Park where none of the adults are fixed, we've been working to try and grab all of the adoptable kittens before they get too old to be socialized or sick from the elements. (Update: two female adults have been spayed so far, and we think they're the only moms at the colony for now.). And let's just say, there were a whole lot of kittens born this summer. We trapped nine kittens in total, two of which were very sick and passed away, two of whom have been adopted, and five more that are now ready to make their debut.
Everyone on the block has been really supportive and wonderful about the cats and care deeply about them, so we're really happy to help get the adults neutered so they can live out their lives without worrying about raising families. If you'd like to help out, there are lots of ways to get involved!
Kittens Available for Adoption:
Blake & Emma
Blake and Emma are a bonded brother/sister pair. Blake is a pure orange tabby, and Emma is also orange with cute white markings on her face and paws. They're typical playful, rambunctious kittens and they'll liven up your house with their personality. These sweet little babes are spayed/neutered, vaccinated as appropriate for their age, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. They'll need to be adopted together!
Instant Pot, Ringleader and Kayla
These three little ladies are sisters too! Instant Pot is a gorgeous orange tabby/calico mix, and Ringleader and Kayla are mostly white with fun patches of tabby and orange fur.
These sweet girls are spayed, vaccinated as appropriate for their age, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The girls love each other, and we'd love for two of them to be adopted together, with the third going to a home with another playful, young cat.

I mean, come on
Plum & Quincy
Plum & Quincy are bonded brothers who were born under a stoop in Bed-Stuy. They're gorgeous grey tabbies and are ready to go home with you! (pictured above with their already-adopted bro, Papaya).
Each kitten's adoption fee is $60, paid to our cat rescue nonprofit Cat Republic. Send us an email if you'd like to meet any of the kittens mentioned above!. They're all currently about 3 months old as of Sept 20, 2018.
Support Cat Republic!
If you're not able to foster or adopt but would like to help out with supplies and medicine for the kittens (they're hungry!) by making a donation to our nonprofit Cat Republic, we'd be ever so appreciative! We also have an Amazon wish list with some of the kitten's favorites.
