SIGN UP HERE! Jan 29 from 12-1:30pm.

Make some lovely + simple watercolor coasters that are perfect for gift giving! We'll start by exploring a few easy watercolor techniques then transform those paintings into coasters made with durable acrylic rounds and copper tape. if you're feeling extra festive, we can add in some metallic flakes as well.

No experience required! You can make up to 4 coasters (keep some and gift some), and all materials are provided.

Proceeds from this class will support two of our medical cases at Cat Republic: Broccoli and Boxcar.

Broccoli is a sweet cat that has been in our care for some time now. He has lymphoma, resulting in a large nasal tumor. He's currently undergoing his second round of chemotherapy. Broccoli is just the most lovely guy who has a wonderful foster family that loves him a lot, and we're trying to help him have the best quality of life possible. Each treatment costs about $800.

Boxcar is a 7-year-old cat that appeared out of nowhere in December at a feral colony. He's completely blind and has a mass in one ear. Boxcar is shy, but incredibly docile and loves nothing more than to nap on your lap. We can't believe he survived outdoors for so long given his condition, but he clearly was suffering a lot on the street. Boxcar is getting a biopsy done on the mass in his ear on January 31, and it will cost about $900.

If you can't attend Sunday's workshop but would like to make a donation toward Boxcar and Broccoli, you can do so at catrepublic.com/donate or paypal.me/catrepublicbk
