Image 3 is a palimpsest of Columbia's original campus downtown - this is a current shot of the northwest corner of West Broadway and Warren Street, whose earlier name on its most southerly section was College Place, abutting Columbia College's campus from the late 18th century through the mid-19th was adjacent.
