Taught by Jen Messier

Jen is the co-founder of the Brainery and lives in Flatlands with her partner and (too many) cats. She knows a little bit about a lot of things and can teach a lot of classes on the fly. Currently really into hydroponics, cyanotypes, and dyeing things poorly.

You can ask her anything at jen@brooklynbrainery.com.

This is an old class! Check out the current classes, or sign up for our mailing list to see if we'll offer this one again.

This class might be over, but get first dibs on new sessions and brand-new classes by signing up on our ultra-rad mailing list.

In this class, we'll explore simple watercolor techniques, then use them to create colorful sheets of paper. Once dry, we'll cut (or tear) the strips of paper and weave them together to create surprising and unque images. It's a fun way to use your hands, work with color, and make something new!

This is a super fun activity akin to constructing a puzzle (but much more creative!).

No watercolor or weaving experience required. We are still asking that all attendees be vaccinated. This class may take place outdoors in our backyard (weather depending).
