Join us for a low-stakes introduction to watercolor!
We'll start with a quick demo of watercolor's unique properties and techniques, such as wet-on-wet, the importance of layering, and building from light to dark.
We'll also talk about which materials you should splurge or save on, and you'll learn about the joys of 100% cotton paper and paints that will give good results without breaking the bank.
We'll leave lots of time for you to experiment with your own landscapes, abstract works, or figurative paintings and finish with a little group show and tell.
Learn whether you like the medium and want to invest in your own set of materials in a relaxed setting!
