Jen is the co-founder of the Brainery and lives in Flatlands with her partner and (too many) cats. She knows a little bit about a lot of things and can teach a lot of classes on the fly. Currently really into hydroponics, cyanotypes, and dyeing things poorly.

Join us for a low-stakes evening of watercolor exploration! We'll start with a quick demo of watercolor's unique properties and techniques, such as wet-on-wet, the importance of layering, and building from light to dark.
We'll leave lots of time for you to experiment with your own landscapes, abstract works, or figurative paintings. Learn whether you like the medium and want to invest in your own set of materials in a relaxed setting!
