Looking to preserve a bountiful harvest or your latest Greenmarket finds? Join us for a beginner's guide to water bath canning, where we'll make pickled green beans and explore the process from start to finish.

We'll talk about why home canning is great, safety, and set you up for success in your own kitchen. What speciality equipment matters and what can you skip? How do you know your recipe is safe? Did your jar seal properly? Should I even bother canning in NYC? Join us for a fun exploration of an old process. 

Everyone will make a jar of pickled green beans to take home.
