Learn to make your own plant based milks from scratch. We will cover everything from pumpkin and flax to cashews and oats. Choose your own easy-to-find ingredients and apply our simple 3-step method to a variety of fresh plant based milks. You’ll not only be able to choose the appropriate techniques for the different seeds, grains and nuts but you’ll understand how to get varied consistencies and produce unique blends. You’ll also understand when to soak first, for how long and why, and the benefits of various tools and equipment.
This class will help you appreciate the health and other benefits to producing your own plant-based milks. Utilize your fresh milks, if you choose, in a couple of simple base recipes, such as pastry cream and bechamel. We’ll discuss dozens of dishes and desserts where you can use those base recipes, as well as countless applications for your freshly made plant-based milks.
After you test this process and taste your results, we will have you wondering why you’ve been buying oat milk by the carton!
