Jen is the co-founder of the Brainery and lives in Flatlands with her partner, very old dog and assored cats. She knows a little bit about a lot of things and can teach a lot of classes on the fly. Currently really into hydroponics, cyanotypes, and dyeing things poorly.

Join us for a fun, easy soap customization party!
Rather than making soap from scratch - which requires using lye and a long curing process - we'll melt pre-made soap, and then add in color, fragrance, and exfoliants for a wonderful and simple project. Melt and pour soaps make great gifts and are a fun way to explore soap making with kids since you don't have to work directly with lye.
Everyone will melt and customize about 1/2 pound of soap and we'll have a variety of molds to choose from. Goat milk and vegan soap will be available.
