In Italian, there is a common saying that translates to “Smile Smile, Momma made the gnocchi!” We all need cause for a few smiles. Join Teaching Table from your kitchen to make your own gnocchi. You’ll learn at least 4 different variations. Choose one based on your flavor preference or the produce you have on hand:
-
Sweet Potato
-
Butternut (or other) Squash
-
Potato
-
Broccoli Stem
In this all ages virtual cooking workshop, you will make your own gnocchi dough from scratch, using your vegetable of choice. We’ll practice rolling and shaping the gnocchi and make a simple sauce to pair them with. I’ll be right with you the whole time demonstrating and guiding you through the ups and downs. This class has something for pasta novices as well as experienced home pasta makers. You will also learn how to cook gnocchi, and any pasta for that matter, to perfection with a few pro techniques.
