Taught by Blake

Blake Robinson helps individuals and foundations with strong values to invest in a way that supports their values. When not doing that, Blake hosts a speaker series in Manhattan, writes about socially responsible investing, and plays squash.

This class might be over, but get first dibs on new sessions and brand-new classes by signing up on our ultra-rad mailing list.

Know you should be investing, but don't know where to start? Concerned that, if you do start, you’ll lose money and/or read about your investments with disgust in the news? Then, this class has your name written all over it.

This class aims to give you a primer on (1) how investing legends Warren Buffett, Benjamin Graham and Phil Fisher approach investing in individual companies, and, (2) how to make sure an individual company fits your values, whatever they may be.

Since this is an intro-class, no prior knowledge of accounting or finance is necessary, although it will probably be helpful.

This class, like all the rest, takes place at the Brainery space at the corner of W. 9th and Court in Carroll Gardens.
