Have you always wanted to learn how to make your own pasta? Are you shocked at the price of fresh gourmet pastas? Want to elevate pasta night by 400%? Need a therapeutic (and productive) activity to entertain everyone this summer? Join us for an all ages virtual cooking class to make your own pasta at home, by hand!
No special tools, equipment or ingredients needed (see below). You won’t need to heat up your oven for this class!
In this all ages virtual cooking workshop, you will make your own pasta dough from scratch. After discussing options for perfect sauces to pair with your pasta shapes, you’ll practice rolling and cutting pasta into various shapes, like fettucine, cavatelli, farfalle, pappardelle, orecchiette, strozzapreti, and ravioli. I’ll be right with you the whole time demonstrating and guiding you through the ups and downs. This class has something for pasta novices as well as experienced home pasta makers. You’ll love learning about pasta, its origins, how it’s made, and the various cuts and shapes almost as much as you’ll enjoy eating it!
