Laura Scheck is the founder of Teaching Table, a culinary education platform that aims to inspire others to cook foods that are better for their bodies, their families, and their communities. Laura previously worked as a teacher and adult educator and was trained at the Natural Gourmet Institute, making her uniquely suited to share her passion for food in an educational way. Teaching Table provides public cooking demos and workshops, lessons targeted towards individual needs and special diets, private cooking classes & events for cooks of all ages and experience levels, as well as tips, techniques, and recipes via a blog and social media.

Join us for an afternoon tea party, fit for royalty but accessible to everyone! Learn about the history of British tea - the event as well as the drink.
You’ll produce an elegant and tasty assortment of tea snacks that you can enjoy with friends right away or use to create an epic Mother’s Day tea party!
So, dust off the tea set. With your new knowledge of tea party etiquette and your top notch baking techniques (the secrets to flaky decadent scones, homemade jam, AND intensely flavorful lemon drizzle cake), you will control the most sought after tea party invite in the land.

Some Prep required.
You do not need a tea set or any special equipment for this class. Use what you have. We will get creative. You will receive a suggested list of ingredients and materials at least 1 week in advance.
$29 per device. Your entire household can join. Bakers of all ages are welcomed and encouraged.
