Location: Prospect Heights Brainery (190 Underhill Ave in Prospect Heights, BK)

Join us for a three-day series to help you become a better watercolorist while you're on holiday break. Designed for beginners, you'll dive head first into this wonderful painting medium and see how you improve over the week with consistent practice. During class time, we'll talk about materials, techniques, paint application and much more, though the exact subject matter will be shaped by your interests. We'll talk about lighting, composition, color mixing, layering and much more, finishing with a still life project.

Each student will receive a palette filled with essential watercolor colors, 100% cotton paper and a brush to take home so that you can paint after the class is over.

We will meet:

Monday, December 28

Tuesday, December 29

Wednesday, December 30

from 2-4pm each day
