I have a rule about how to not get mugged: it's called ABR, and it stands for Always Be Running. If you are running, it is my belief that muggers will say "oh, that dude is running" and will decline to mug you.

Being at your desk is different. You probably won't be mugged, but you might be disorganized instead. In this case, the best advice one can give is ABK, Always Be Knolling.
