Sumeet Bahl, MD

Sumeet Bahl, MD is a Radiology resident at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York, NY, and will specialize in Interventional Radiology. But his lifelong goal is to unify the practice of cutting-edge Western medicine with the holistic mind-body approach of the East. Under the leadership of the Dalai Lama, through the Emory University-Tibet partnership, Sumeet conducted research on the effects of meditation on the stress and immune response. He has been practicing meditation for 18 years, trained in kriya yoga, and has lectured on the benefits of meditation with the desire to help everyone incorporate its practice into daily life.
