Learn how to paint beautiful loose florals in this basic watercolor class! Artist Danielle Rothman of Rothbyrns Creative (www.rothbyrnscreative.com) will teach you how to do basic watercolor techniques, create several types of flowers including roses, lavender, and greenery, and arrange a wreath.

You will learn how to:

  • Do a variety of watercolor techniques including wet on wet, color bleeds, and more!
  • Draw roses, lavender, greenery, and tulips with watercolor
  • Create a balanced wreath

You will need the following supplies to participate. Don't worry about using certain brands or types of watercolors - you're welcome to use whatever you have! Supply list:

  • Watercolors of your choice (3-4 colors are fine)
  • Watercolor palette for mixing
  • Round brush (size 6, 8, and/or 10 are recommended, but you can use whatever you have!)
  • Watercolor paper (140lb cold press is standard, but anything that's specifically for wet media will work)
  • Water cup and paper towels
