I’m currently a User Experience Designer for a fantastic agency in the city, and have worked as a Visual and Print Designer for a number of years, hold an MS in Communications Design and have taught Graduate Level courses on Typography and Design. I feel my passion for design is something I love to share with others and create the same level of excitement I have for it!

This is an old class! Check out the current classes, or sign up for our mailing list to see if we'll offer this one again.

This class might be over, but get first dibs on new sessions and brand-new classes by signing up on our ultra-rad mailing list.

We all consume and create the written word on a daily basis. Whether it be sending an email or reading a tweet or creating a Powerpoint presentation; typography and its use can have nearly as profound an effect as the message itself.

In this Typography for Beginners course, we’ll foster a basic understanding on typography, showcase some select typefaces, and also show you how to develop a basic visual language for your future word documents, presentations, or whenever else you find yourself typing things.

A 90-minute course that will allow you to create better looking work AND understand why!
