Taught by Lisa Nett
Lisa hails from the tree filled state of Wisconsin. She studied forestry at UW-Madison, and the art of firewood stacking on the family dairy farm. She rolls through the city streets on a trusty Schwinn while sneaking peeks at the passing trees. Check out Lisa's tree-focused Tumblr, The Tree Seen, or follow her on Twitter, @lisa_nett.
Look closely and be inspired! Enjoy a wondrous early-morning walk in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden before it opens to the public as you learn the rudiments of tree identification and listen to nature-inspired poetry. Class runs rain or shine, so dress appropriately.
This class will meet at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Please use the 1000 Washington Avenue entrance.
Ticket prices are $14 for BBG members and $15 for nonmembers. Please be sure to select the correct option from the drop down menu on the next page.
