What was life like in Pompeii before Vesuvius went KABOOM?

Pompeii was like the Jersey Shore of ancient Italy, where everyone went to cool off when Rome got sticky; it was complete with snack bars, swimming pools, tanning grounds... and it's the longest continually excavated site anywhere, so there's plenty of evidence.

In this talk, we'll learn what the stuff left behind tells us about how the Romans got down in the summer.
