Taught by Liz

Liz is a lawyer and public health nerd.  She read the Supreme Court's decision on the Affordable Care Act partly for work, but mostly for fun.

This is an old class! Check out the current classes, or sign up for our mailing list to see if we'll offer this one again.

This class might be over, but get first dibs on new sessions and brand-new classes by signing up on our ultra-rad mailing list.

Understand the Supreme Court's decision on the Affordable Care Act without having to read the opinion or rely on the pundits. This class will provide a clear, totally non-partisan explanation of how the Court ruled on each of the issues (it's not all about the mandate!) and why the dissenting Justices would have ruled differently.

By the end of the class, you'll understand why the individual mandate was upheld as a tax (but was otherwise found NOT to be a tax) and what at all the Medicaid expansion fuss is about.

Broccoli will be served.
