The Poetry of Patterns

Taught by Brooklyn Brainery

Brooklyn Brainery hosts affordable classes at our location in Brooklyn (190 Underhill Ave in Prospect Heights), as well as additional events around the borough. We hosted our first classes in 2010 and look forward to hosting many more for years to come.

This is an old class! Check out the current classes, or sign up for our mailing list to see if we'll offer this one again.

This class might be over, but get first dibs on new sessions and brand-new classes by signing up on our ultra-rad mailing list.

We're excited to be hosting part 4 of "Science and Storytelling: Investigating Authority, Power, and Truth." Please click the blue sign up button for all registration, ticketing, and location information!

Join us for the final session, complete with skill sharing, art making, and wine! We’ll begin by studying a painting in the Museum’s collection and plants from Brooklyn Botanical Garden. We’ll think about patterns in artworks and the natural world, and compare them to patterns in historical narratives, science, and poetry. Finally, learn the art of printmaking to further explore the idea of patterns, and toast to all the great work done over these four weeks!

Tickets are available through Eventbrite for this event, and no Brainery gift certificates may be used to register.
