As rents rise, Bushwick has become a haven over the years for street artists and graffiti writers seeking lower rent, leaving the area saturated with art. Come along as we explore the legal and illegal sides of the artistic community. We will see the Bushwick Collective, founded by native Joe Ficalora, who has covered the surrounding area with murals from globally renowned artists. The group will also see walls by prominent Brooklyn writers, including Noxer, 907 crew, Cash4, and Smells.
Meeting point: The corner of Wyckoff Ave and Stockholm Street outside of the L train stop at DeKalb Avenue.
