Presentation Skills - Park Slope
Taught by The Engaging Educator
Realizing the connection between improvisation and communication, The Engaging Educator (@TheEngagingEd), specializes in customized improv-based education. We provide classes that enhance public speaking, creativity, flexibility, positive risk-taking, teamwork and more by flexing improv muscles. Beyond our classes for educators and professionals, we also specialize in improv for high school students, corporate workshops, and improv for individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as individuals with cerebral palsy.
One of the top fears in the world is public speaking. And some people make it look so simple – they use the right tone, the right gestures, project correctly and enunciate every word. Your school doesn’t necessarily offer a class in how to do this well – so why not take one with someone who’s trained in all of these things?
In this class, I’ll walk you through presentation skills essential to being a more interesting speaker. You’ll practice activities, work on breathing, learn warm-ups, build confidence and address that fear of public speaking and learn how to be a better presenter. We all need to be better communicators – why not start now?

Class size: 8-10, very interactive!
