Pickled Eggs
Taught by Dory Kornfeld
Dory Kornfeld Thrasher just finished her PhD in Urban Planning. She teaches college classes at SUNY, CUNY, and Columbia; knits, quilts, and pickles; and runs marathons. Quilts (& quilty projects) can be seen at http://truequilts.tumblr.com/and everything else is at http://greenpeugeot.tumblr.com/
This is an old class! Check out the current classes, or sign up for our mailing list to see if we'll offer this one again.
Learn to make the classic pub snack. We'll preserve hardboiled eggs in a vinegar brine, and play around with some different flavour combinations (Jalapenos? Beets? Anise seeds?).
Pickled eggs are full of protein and electrolytes and are surprisingly tasty and beautiful. You'll get a jar of your own to take home!
