Party Planning 101
Taught by Lizzy Saxe
Lizzy Saxe is a freelance food and pop culture writer with an insatiable sense of curiosity. She has written for Vice Munchies and Literary Hub and is a contributor to Forbes.com, where she covers the future of food.
Lizzy has also served as the Editorial Director at Dorsia.io, a food and travel startup app where she was in charge of all content and managed a remote team of writers. Prior to that, she worked with The Museum of Food and Drink and Heritage Radio Network.
She is a graduate of the NYU Food Studies Masters' program and Beloit College, where she nominally majored in Literary Studies but spent all her time planning events for the science fiction club and the dining co-op when she wasn't selling homemade bread or playing live action role play games.
You can find her work at www.thegirlwiththegarlictattoo.com.
Are your friends always having people over for fabulous parties? Do you want to learn how they do it, but are too scared to ask? Fear no more! In this class you’ll get the tips and tricks you need to entertain and make it look easy.
Lizzy Saxe has organized everything from 40-person dinners to last minute bachelorette parties and loves obsessing over all the tiny details that can make or break an event. She’ll cover everything from how to think about your guest list to graciously asking those guests to leave at the end of the night.
This will be a short discussion class, so please come with plenty of questions.
