Customize your seasonal wardrobe with a one-of-a-kind ugly holiday sweater! You’ll learn the art of needle felting and use your new skills to upgrade a sweater with vibrant wool roving. Whether you adorn your sweater with holiday baubles or a latke pun—the possibilities are endless and you’re sure to be the hit of your next holiday party.

Please bring a sweater that you want to customize with needle felting. I’ve had success felting onto wool, cotton, and acrylic so any sweater should work great. The felting you add will be permanent, so keep that in mind when selecting a garment. Felting can mend small holes and cover stains, so this is a great opportunity to rescue an old sweater in need of an upgrade.

If you don’t have a sweater, swatches will be provided for practicing the technique.
