Nerd out as you learn about nifty local plants on an after-hours walk around Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Learn how to impress your friends by identifying some stellar natives and even break out a few plant party tricks. You will discover the wonders of explosive seed pods, surprise foliage fragrances, and twig toothbrushes for the trail, and wow your buddies with your knowledge later. Brooklyn Botanic Garden horticulturist and educator Ashley Gamell will share her favorite easy-to-identify natives with personality on this fun tour.

Enter at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden business entrance at 1000 Washington Avenue. Print and bring your registration confirmation for entrance to the Garden. The tour will meet and leave from there. This walk will go outdoors rain or shine, so dress accordingly.
