This practical series will teach the basics of how herbs can support your health and give you the opportunity to make your own in class remedies for your home apothecary. We'll cover everything from teas and tinctures to topical treatments including balms and poultices, amongst others.

Herbalism is the oldest form of medicine and every culture has its version, join us to see how you can incorporate botanical remedies into your daily life using a traditional approach.

In our first session, tincture making, we'll learn that making your own tinctures is a wonderful way to enhance your connection to the plants, make therapeutic medicine and save money on retail herbal tinctures. In this class we will learn how to make alcohol-based medicine with dried and fresh herbs, using folk and professional methods. This will be a practical class, and in addition to the usual recipes and tastings, you will also get to make two remedies in class for take home use.

Keep an eye out for future sessions as well. You can sign up for each class individually!
