This is an old class! Check out the current classes, or sign up for our mailing list to see if we'll offer this one again.

It's a modern myth that your very first knitting project has to be an endless, lumpy scarf.

In this class you'll learn how to cast on and how to work the knit stitch to create simple rectangles that we will then magically turn into a pair of fingerless mittens: quick, warm, and oh-so-satisfying.

BYO bulky weight yarn and a pair of US size 10 needles (any yarn shop can help you out). Pattern will be distributed when you get to class or, for the go-getters, by emailing the instructor ahead of time!

(class size: 8-10, hands on, no experience necessary!)
