Even if you've never knit before, you can learn to knit a hat using only some bulky yarn and size 11 circular needles.
We'll be making a slouchy hat that knits up super quickly due to the hefty yarn thickness. If you're comfortable with the knit and purl stitches (or are willing to be reintroduced), you can spice up your hat with a ribbed edge and any number of fun textural patterns. If you only know the knit stitch, options abound as well -- you can learn a hat in the round with a garter stitch brim, or knit if flat and seam it up. Come ready to experiment!
Materials needed: bring your own bulky yarn and size 11 circular needles
(class size 8-10, very hands on and good for total knitting beginners.)
