In our increasingly digital age, books are becoming more and more a special item. What better way to appreciate their potential and beauty than by learning how to make one yourself? Learn stab binding!

Stab binding is a simple but elegant way to bind a book of single sheets, perfect for making your own scrap book or photo album, ideal for flip books, or a nice way to compile your own writing or prints.

In this class we will start with large blank sheets of paper and end up each with our own ready-to-be-filled journal. We will cover the entire process from tearing sheets to size, measuring and piercing holes, and of course binding. Additionally, while our hands are busy working, our brains will discuss ways to utilize the same structure for other purposes, and extrapolate where we can go from what we know.

When it's all said and done, not only will you have your own book to take home, but an understanding of the uses for this book structure, and the knowledge and wherewithal to make more on your own!

No experience necessary! Stab binding is easy and fun, and so satisfying to hold your finished book in your hands.
