We emphasize art instruction grounded in the intuitive elements of the fine arts, not merely on arts and crafts and strive to provide our students with a better appreciation of the arts and their own thoughts and abilities.

Come explor basic watercolor techniques in this one-session class.  We'll then complete a series of watercolor paintings using these techniques. Techniques such as dry brush and wet into wet will be demonstrated, followed by ample time for you to experiment with the materials and techniques on your own. We'll also demonstrate how to complete a watercolor painting from life, from set up and sketching your composition to layering paints and color mixing. 

Feel free to bring inspirational images for your watercolors. All materials provided and no experience with watercolors in necessary!
