Intro to Jewelry Making: Let's Talk about Sets

Alicia Goodwin is the designer behind the sculptural organic jewelry line Lingua Nigra. Although her line is a over a decade old, she has been in the jewelry industry since 2003. Working as both a product developer and also a graphic jewelry designer, Alicia has worked for many fashion houses, including C. Wonder, Tory Burch,Kate Spade and Juicy Couture.
With her own line she plays with texture and the complexity of random creation to bring spirit to each piece of jewelry.
A creator at heart she loves to share her knowledge of everything jewelry by teaching both hands on classes and also computer aided design throughout New York.
Learn how to make a set of earrings, necklace and/or bracelet in this fun class.
We will use basic shapes to create multiples for your owned designer jewelry set! You will see how creating two or three basic shapes and clean lines can create a beautiful pattern for everyday jewelry. We will be working with wire and a little bit of fire to make a truly custom set.
Make statement earrings with a matching pendant! Make a beautiful necklace with some simple earrings!
Please come with a few designs in mind. The instructor will show each participant how to create their own unique work.
