*This class will meet at the 15th Street entrance to Prospect Park.*

Investing in a DSLR or mirrorless camera is just the first step in making good photographs. Now that you have the equipment, get introduced to the basics of photography and how your DSLR or mirrorless camera works.

This course will cover exposure controls and capture modes, and their ramifications, and will provide a basis for taking better pictures. Students will observe with their own cameras how changing settings changes results.

(You'll need your own DSLR, mirrorless, or hybrid camera to participate. Class size 5-6 max, lecture and experiments. Masks required and the class will be entirely outdoors.)
