Investing in a DSLR or mirrorless camera is just the first step in making good photographs. Now that you have the equipment, get introduced to the basics of photography and how your DSLR or mirrorless camera works.

This course will cover exposure controls and capture modes, and their ramifications, and will provide a basis for taking better pictures. Students will observe with their own cameras how changing settings changes results.

You'll need to bring your own DSLR, mirrorless, or hybrid camera to class! Class size 8-10, lecture and experiments.
