In Person: World Toilet Day Paint & Sip
Taught by Kimberly Worsham
Kimberly Worsham is a water & sanitation (WASH) specialist in the development industry and founder of FLUSH. She discovered a passion for toilets early as a child who always needed to inspect restaurant facilities, but was reminded of that love while consulting in India, and has continued her love by working on projects in NYC, Australia, Cambodia, Ghana, and Kenya. In different lives, she has worked in local government, corporate marketing, and even taught math in Rwanda. She received her MPA and B.Sc in business at NYU, and a Masters in Integrated Water Management from the University of Queensland as an International WaterCentre Scholar.
Did you know there's a World Toilet Day?! There is, and it's November 19th. And this year we are asking the question: who cares about toilets? Our answer: artists do! And we're hoping that includes you, too. Join us in an interactive event where we combine toilets, artwork, and sipping.
To celebrate this year, we invite you to come learn about the joys (and importance) of toilets from FLUSH while learning how to paint a work of toilet art from a local artist. Try out your hand at making a masterpiece for your bathroom, or stretch your creativity with a design of your own. And what can make painting better than a nice glass of wine?
Cost of the event includes art supplies and wine. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available too. All attendees will need to provide proof of at least one dose of COVID vaccination.
