This is an old class! Check out the current classes, or sign up for our mailing list to see if we'll offer this one again.

This class might be over, but get first dibs on new sessions and brand-new classes by signing up on our ultra-rad mailing list.

Here is a chance to gather, use inspiration from found art, grocery lists, unfinished love notes, magazine and newspaper clippings to create something new. Something yours. Something from your imagination. We will utilize the cut-up technique (taking language from two or more different sources), blackout poetry (removing language) and poetry prompts to inspire the poetry from deep within us. Whether you have written many poems before or always wanted to, this is the workshop for you.

Freel free to bring: old magazines, newspapers, receipts from your pocket, letters or cards you haven't thrown away, incomplete artwork you are hoping to finish one day, any bits of words, texture, even sounds to encourage our language to flow!!! Materials will also be provided.

For all in-person classes, you'll need to provide proof of at least one COVID vaccine dose.
