Ever wonder why a child listens to their teacher and not you? Montessori educators are trained to prepare an environment and use positive and intentional phrasing to have effective communication with children that encourages discipline without having to be authoritarian.

In this class, you will gain tools that will have children eager to listen and accomplish what you ask without threat or punishment. Learn tricks of the trade from a professional Montessori trained educator with over ten years of experience in schools and homes.

We'll discuss how to give your child independence and freedom within limits, how to prepare your environment, and what to say to avoid tantrums.  And what to do when those unavoidable tantrums occur.  We'll also discuss some of the principles and history of Montessori Education.

For parents and caregivers of children 5 and younger.
