When we sit down to work, it’s rare that ideas just show up. This workshop will discuss how to generate new ideas in your creative practice through setting up "enabling constraints." Enabling constraints are conditions that allow us to feel like we are playing with a sense of purpose and protection. The workshop will identify 3 ways to establish constraints around the 3Ms - the material, the multiple, and the mirror.

This framework will help you jump start your art practice and take thoughtful cues from artists that inspire you most. Creatives from all disciplines (visual arts, music, design, writing) are welcome!

Class will meet on Zoom. You'll be sent Zoom meeting info after enrollment and a PDF of the class presentation the day of. Class size 12-15 max.
