Ready to take charge of your wellness from the inside out? Gettin’ Gutsy is your guided 6-week group program to reboot, nourish, and jumpstart your gut health. Through weekly group coaching sessions, weekly implementation homework, and community support, you’ll learn how to fuel your body, improve digestion, balance your microbiome, and create lasting habits for better digestion, energy, and overall well being.

Students will receive a Gut Assessment a week before the course starts to help gain clarity from what drivers might be leading to their gut issues.

Each week students will have a one-hour online group session where we will discuss a gut health topic (I.e. Eating Hygiene, Microbiome, Probiotics, Pathogens, etc) and students will have group discussion time with Q & A. Additionally, students will be sent away with a weekly piece of homework with resources to work on for the following weeks session.

This course is not intended to diagnose, but to help us all be great detectives in supporting ourselves through mind, body and spirit.

** Students will have the opportunity to book additional 1:1 with Cheryl for an additional fee. Please reach out to Cheryl directly for more information.

About Your Coach

We all have a story about our healing journey. Mine began when I was 29 years old, after completing not one, but TWO masters degrees in the art world. I had worked myself tooth and nail through graduate school and looking back now I can see a long list of symptoms and “ism’s” that had been growing since childhood.

I left graduate school and kept suffering through a system that repeatedly told me “just one more round of antibiotics”, just “one more round of steroids” but despite the prescriptions, I wasn’t getting better. This experience of going in and out of hospitals and doctors appointments lead me to take my health into my own hands and began an epic journey of addressing the root causes of my issues: parasites, mold, Hashimoto’s, food intolerances, leaky gut, chronic inflammation, and an immune system gone wild.

My healing journey led me to fermentation, which led me to health coaching and then on to herbal medicine, and all that finally led me into functional medicine. Now I am here to help people reclaim their health, happiness, vitality, and become their strongest selves.

Beyond my practice, I am living my best life as a fermentation geek, artist, wife, food nut, writer, podcaster and book worm. I love bike riding, camping, record collecting, gardening, foraging, cooking, being a cat & dog mom, and adventuring the world!
